maconbraves asked: I was thinking it was an old 1970's version of Cor! from the UK. sheers.
I had to google Cor! but found out it was a not to distant relation of Whizzer and Chips which I used to read as a young sprout - very cool thanks Macon!
i like posting comic panels without context, i think it makes the viewer build in a vague story around them, do you agree? y/n
a panel from one of a series of short form comics and images I’m producing for carlow arts festival this summer on the theme of extinction…
danielandrewhill asked: I REALLY like your use of colour, especially in the Konami Code comic you just put out. Do you get your palette from anywhere in particular?
Thanks Daniel! I spend alot of time in the colouring stage of my work, in photoshop sliding little bars around the ‘adjustment’ tabs until something in my mind goes ‘OK THATS IT! GOOD! STOP!’
maconbraves asked: what newspaper is under the lads left arm to the right of the clown?
Oh, I don’t think I even thought about what newspaper it could be! I guess the Financial times maybe?
Illustration on the Festival of Fools and CQAF for Quarter Beat Magazine’s May Issue, out in Belfast now…
